2006: New Year, New Opportunities
Happy New Year from the Crichton University Campus! Why not start the new year by thinking about your future?
The University of Paisley, the University of Glasgow and Bell College are holding Open Information Sessions on the following days:
- Monday 16th January 2006 - Rutherford McCowan Building, Crichton University Campus, Dumfries (12noon - 3pm & 4pm - 7pm)
- Tuesday 17th January 2006 - Library, Newton Stewart (4pm-7pm)
Have you or your friends thought about studying recently? Make it a reality in 2006, by looking into the local opportunities.
Why not tell your colleagues, friends and family about these sessions as they provide an ideal opportunity to speak to staff and advisers on a one-to-one basis about full and part-time courses, careers and student funding. They are informal drop-in sessions so no appointments are required.
Information will be available on:
- Part-time study oportunities starting in February 2006*
- Summer study opportunities for 2006 including evening classes and FREE Summer School (access course)
- Full and part-time opportunities starting in September 2006
- Funding, Careers, Student Services etc
- School Leavers Bursary (C:USA)
* The University of Paisley are offering Free part-time study opportunities to women who enrol of a module starting February 2006 (Please ask for details about the Winning Women Initiative). The University of Paisley are also offering ECDL by Distance Learning Free of Charge to all students in February 2006 so please ask for details at the Information Session or call 01387 702075.
Community Learning & Development staff from Dumfries & Galloway Council will also be available to enrol students onto their classes on Monday 16th January from 12noon-3pm.
